Expanding Wisconsin Veterans Village
At Wisconsin Veterans Village, we are committed to serving those who served by providing a supportive and affordable community. Our mission is to offer veterans throughout their lifespan a place to call home where they can thrive within a veteran-centric culture.
Over 44,000 veterans reside in Outagamie, Brown, Waupaca, Winnebago, and Calumet counties, with 61% aged 65 years or older, representing WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
Wisconsin Veterans Village is proud to have fully renovated 48 apartments at the village, which are now all occupied to veterans and their families. However, Wisconsin Veterans Village receives inquiries regularly from veterans seeking to join the community. Because of this, the need for expansion is crucial.

We’ve reached full capacity. All 48 apartments are now homes to veteran families, emphasizing the urgent need for expansion due to an extensive waiting list.
Our strategic location allows veterans easy access to essential services like the VA Clinic, Tri-County Dental Clinic, and Fox Valley Tech, which hosts the largest population of student veterans in Wisconsin.
We’ve successfully helped three veterans transition to their own homes and supported four veterans in starting their own businesses, demonstrating the efficacy of our integrated support services.
What’s Next?
Our work is far from done. We aim to expand our capacity to provide even more veterans with affordable housing and holistic support services. With rental rates 30-50% below the market in 2025, your contribution now is more crucial than ever as Fox Valley rental prices continue to rise.
